While he was out driving Police Officer Patrick Hennessey noticed two pit bulls sitting in the middle of the road. Upon closer look he noticed that one of the dogs was severely injured. He decided to sit in the road with the scared dogs until help arrived.
The police officers decided to name the dogs Justice and Liberty. The dogs are now being cared for at a local animal shelter. Thanks to Patrick these sweet pups have a second chance at life.
Once the story spread around the community, people took their time to praise the Deputies for their selfless deed of making sure the Pit Bulls were taken care of.
