Getting another pat can be tricky because you never know whether they will get along with the one you already have. It’s even more delicate when you own a cat because we know cats can be pretty territorial. This family who has a cat happened to rescue a prairie dog which they were about to bring in the house. They were a bit nervous because they had no idea how their cat would react to her new ‘sibling’.
However, when these two met, the sweetest bond was created in an instant. The cat seemed to be cool with her new pal and enjoyed playing with him around the house. She didn’t show any predatory signs, but is pretty much relaxed and entertained.
Who knew how cute prairie dogs were?!
