It’s no coincidence that Gabe receives gifts.
Four years ago, 8-year-old Gabe was feeding crows in his Seattle yard.
It has become the norm for them to wait in the yard when it is lunchtime.
The crows seem to feel the need to reciprocate. They’ve been dropping their own gifts for years. Gabe picked up most of the things they left at his feet.
It contains toys, beads and even a heart-shaped bead. The crows were kind enough to find Gabe’s mother, Lisa, a misplaced camera lens.
Perhaps the best gift was a piece of jewelery with the word “best”.
It’s a two-way relationship where everyone gets what they want.
It is no coincidence that this happened. The birds know very well that they have a relationship with Gaby.
They don’t throw these toys at Gaby’s neighbors. They’re smart enough to know that Gabby is the girl to go for.
She even considers crows friends and family and why not?
She buys them lunch and they buy her presents.
