Alicia Keys’ “Alicia + Keys World Tour” had a surprise guest performer in the form of her son, Egypt. The concert took place on June 23, 2022, at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany, where Egypt showcased his exceptional piano skills by playing “il vento d’oro” from “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind,” “Merry-Go-Round of Life” from “Howl’s Moving Castle,” and the opening theme song of “Game of Thrones.”

Keys and her husband, Swizz Beatz, expressed their pride in their son’s impressive performance by posting a selfie video together. Keys also revealed that she was thrilled upon finding out about her son’s developing talent in music, saying that Egypt is excited about music and loves playing the piano. She further added that Egypt is very creative and has been writing a bunch of songs with great melodies, and has a good ear for picking out great songs.

In 2021, Keys had shared her surreal experience of working with her son, where she gushed about his skills and how she was tearing up while listening to him play. Apparently, Egypt had expressed his desire to join his mother on tour, taking every opportunity to familiarize himself with what the future may hold for him.

Keys further told the outlet that she always stops in her tracks when she hears her son play, listening to his chords and choices. It’s not been a surprise for her as he has always been connected to music. With his incredible performance at the concert, it’s safe to say that Egypt Keys is gearing up to become a child prodigy in the music industry, just like his mother.
