Loren Allred, the voice behind the hit song “Never Enough” from the movie “The Greatest Showman,” turned out to be the perfect artist for Michael Bublé. With her impeccable vocals, she was an ideal match for a duet rendition of “Help Me Make It Through the Night,” originally written and recorded by Kris Kristofferson.

Realizing this, Bublé knew he had to convince Allred to sing with him. Despite facing personal challenges such as his son’s battle with cancer and taking a sabbatical for his own health, Bublé remained determined. In an interview with TODAY, he shared that the past few years had been incredibly difficult outside of the recording booth. However, he also learned the importance of patience and understanding that life’s small curveballs are insignificant in the grand scheme.

Returning to the studio filled Bublé with excitement, knowing that recording “Help Me Make It Through the Night” was the perfect choice. Discovering Allred further solidified his conviction, and he was determined to bring her into the recording studio. Allred, thrilled to be included in the duet, eagerly sang alongside one of her favorite artists.

Their voices intertwined seamlessly, cascading through each note and infusing the rendition with an enchanting and haunting quality that leaves listeners with goosebumps
