Shakira is just days away from kicking off her world tour *Las mujeres ya no lloran*, meaning she won’t be able to spend as much time with her children, Milan and Sasha. As a result, it appears that the little ones will stay with their father, Gerard Piqué, over the next few months. According to the newspaper *Vanitatis*, Piqué is expected to arrive in Miami soon.
While it seems that the former footballer’s plans in the U.S. do not include his girlfriend, Clara Chía, new reports have emerged about who might accompany him on this trip.
Who will be with Gerard Piqué in Miami?
As speculation grows about Piqué’s temporary move to *The Magic City*, some media outlets are uncovering new details.
Journalist Silvia Taulés reports that Gerard Piqué won’t be alone in Miami—his parents, Joan Piqué and Montserrat Bernabeu, will also travel to North America to spend time with Milan and Sasha.
Shakira’s children share a close bond with their paternal grandparents, making them a key source of support while the Colombian singer is away.
Why isn’t Clara Chía traveling with Piqué?
Since the former footballer’s relationship with the young Catalan woman became public over two years ago, reports have suggested that Milan and Sasha remain unaware of their romance.
Some sources claim that Piqué has no plans to introduce Clara Chía as his girlfriend to his children, as they apparently believe she is just his assistant.
However, paparazzo Jordi Martin recently revealed that Gerard’s temporary stay in Miami has upset Clara Chía, who reportedly gave him an ultimatum, feeling that she is “not being given her place” in the relationship.
“He has temporarily separated from Clara Chía, indirectly due to Shakira, who called him and said: ‘I need you to come to Miami and take care of the kids’ (…) Of course, Clara Chía didn’t take this well. She felt it wasn’t normal and believed Piqué wasn’t giving her the place she deserves. That’s why she allegedly gave him an ultimatum,” said the journalist, known for his ongoing disputes with Piqué.
