A stray dog was found on the streets fending for herself. The dog named Rain was scared and sad and she expressed this in a way we’ve never heard before. Her cry was heart-wrenching but that about to change thanks to our good friends Hope For Paws who managed again to save a dog in need of help.
Rain’s ears were eaten by flies, her coat was filthy and nobody knows what caused her to be so frightened.
One of Hope For Paws’ staff Loreta Frankonyte was able to catch her, calm her down. Then, Eldad Hagar, Hope For Paws’ founder attempted the first contact while Loreta was ready to pull her away in case of an aggressive reaction. However, Rain didn’t react that way. In fact, she only needed a touch of love. The rescuers were able to gain her trust and got her into the crate and from there to the animal hospital.
The next day, a woman named Allison Dunbar saw Rain at the hospital and fell in love with her!
Allison waited for Rain to completely recover get a little bit of training with the Lovejoy Foundation, then returned to finish the adoption process which was short.
Rain was renamed Sassy Pants Dunbar, and she just LOVES her new life! Watch Rain’s touching rescue in the video below.
