In April 2018, some workers were taking a lunch break in the Palo Alto area of California. Buy a pepperoni pizza to share.
While enjoying the pizza, a scruffy dog approached them. They didn’t think about it much until the stray dog stole a slice of pizza for herself.
The workers didn’t mind. They knew this dog needed food because it seemed so malnourished. Without thinking twice, they decided to help this little one.
One of the group members called the Peninsula Humane Society as well as the SPCA to inform them of the existence of the poor little puppy. It wasn’t long before they came to her rescue. What they found was a shock. Not only has these hungry puppies been taking care of themselves, but they recently gave birth to a batch of puppies.
She did not hesitate to tell them about her dogs and led the rescuers straight to them. The puppies were only a few days old and were barely alive due to starvation.
This young mother, now called Queen Elizabeth, knew she had to take care of her young children and was willing to do whatever it took to make it happen.
Isn’t that just the greatest story I’ve heard in a while? This really restores confidence in humanity!
