Why would someone hurt their pet on purpose? This is something an animal lover, and a normal person would never understand. Unfortunately, we witness animal abuse all the time. Luckily, there are organizations that help these animals start their life over again.
Rescuers from Stray Rescue of St. Louis found a medium-sized dog dragging around a 10-pound chain and couldn’t believe it. She barked at them, but they offered food. And they were able to lure her into the vehicle to take her to a place where she’d never be neglected again.
They couldn’t wait to get the dog inside their headquarters to remove the heavy chain from around her neck. And when they do, the look on Fallon Marie’s face says it all. She’s so relieved to finally be free of it after who knows how long.
She had to have felt so much better. A 10-pound chain is ridiculous for any dog, let alone one that only weighs in at 31 pounds herself!
