Lemon the Chihuahua was brought to the shelter as a stray. Weighing only two-and-a-half pounds, she didn’t even have the strength to sit upright. The only thing that kept her going was her fighting spirit.

Lemon, a tiny Chihuahua was found in the streets and then was brought to the shelter. Her rescue didn’t mean that she was all OK. Weighing only only two-and-a-half pounds, Lemon couldn’t even stand up. However, thanks to her fighting spirit, she still had a chance to make it through.

Lemon started to gain a little bit of strength back after she was given a feeding tube. Finally, she was ready to try walking. But taking those first steps wasn’t easy, and she stumbled a lot. But even though she’s as tiny as can be, Lemon had a strong spirit, and she wasn’t going to take no for an answer.

The video below was taken when Lemon was waiting for new home. However, she was adopted some time after it. Her story will leave you smiling by the end. Lemon is a real fighter! “UPDATE: Lemon went home with her new family on 2/10/17! We wish them all lots of love!”
