The horrible incident happened in New Mexico man, when a heartless man who doesn’t deserve to be happy after what he did to his dog. Santa Fe police released a statement searching for a person who is suspected of abandoning his dog at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Cerrillos Road. It is known that many people cruelly abandon their pets without getting their punishment, that is why the officers ask the public to help so this case can be different.
Surveillance cameras caught the suspected man driving in a dark-colored Chevy van. “The male opened his door and let the dog out of the vehicle with the note attached to its neck,” Santa Fe police wrote. “The man then proceeded to go into Dunkin’ Donuts and order a cup of coffee. The dog followed the man from the vehicle to the front door of the business but was ignored by the man.”
He then, without hesitating, dumped the dog there alone. The note read “I’m free, I’m having babies.” The authorities are asking any person who has information that can lead to the man to step in and let them know.
The dog is thankfully under the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society. “She is social and loves people,” they told The Dodo. “We still do not know if she is pregnant — too early to tell. [But] the safety of the dog was not the person’s main concern.”
