Kevin recounted an alarming incident where he exited the car, leaving his then-4-day-old son, Travis, inside while the car was still running.
“I pulled up to the hotel valet, jumped out of the car, slammed the door, keys inside, windows up, and Travis still in the car,” he recalled.
Realizing the potential danger, Kevin expressed the panic he felt, especially considering his son’s tender age.
“At that moment, my little guy was only 4 days old. So, to say I lost my composure would be an understatement,” he admitted.
Fortunately, a quick-thinking hotel valet swiftly intervened. Using a towel to protect his hand, the valet shattered the car window within seconds.
“This remarkable, heroic guy—it took him mere seconds. He wrapped a towel around his fist. Bam! Right through the window,” Kevin recounted.
With the window broken, the valet opened the car door, allowing Kevin and his wife to retrieve their son. The entire ordeal unfolded in a matter of seconds.
“He punched through, removed it, and I was like, ‘Wow, that’s some superhero stuff right there,'” Kevin marveled.
Grateful for the valet’s bravery, Kevin later visited him and made sure to show his appreciation with a generous tip.
“He acknowledged it, and we shared a laugh… I’d like to think I tipped him well,” Kevin reflected on their reunion
