Following her passing, country music artists mourned and offered heartfelt tributes to the star.
Dolly Parton, a fellow country music legend, reminisced about her bond with the late Loretta Lynn: “We’ve been like sisters all the years we’ve been in Nashville, and she was a wonderful human being, wonderful talent, had millions of fans, and I’m one of them.”
GRAMMY Award-winning artist Miranda Lambert also honored the iconic singer: “I’m so heartbroken to hear about Loretta’s passing. She was so kind to me, and she blazed so many trails for all of us girls in country music. Thank you for all the songs. Miss you. Fly high.”
Reba McEntire expressed her love and appreciation for Lynn’s contributions: “I always did, and I always will love Loretta. She was always so nice to me. I sure appreciate her paving the rough and rocky road for all us girl singers.”
Kelly Clarkson, known for her versatility between pop and country music, delivered a touching and enjoyable tribute on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” For this special musical segment of “Kellyoke,” she enlisted the participation of the charismatic “Black Adam” star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The highly-anticipated performance featured The Rock and Clarkson joyfully singing “Don’t Come Home A Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind).” Their playful banter and groove to the country tunes created an entertaining tribute.
Clarkson’s homage marked one of the final tributes to the late Loretta Lynn, who was laid to rest beside her husband, Doo, at their Hurricane Mills Ranch in Tennessee
