Dogs are man’s best friends, and we are no longer surprised when they are friends with other animals. From the Great Pyrenees named Fiona, she came to befriend the local squirrels! Every day, the owners take her to the park, where she knows that she can often meet a face that appears to greet her.
It must be quite alarming to the gophers at first, but as you can see in the video below, it doesn’t take long until they realize the gentle giant means no harm. The interactions are so sweet, and the fact the gophers hang around to mingle with the dog just confirms what Mom knew all along — Fiona is the most loving and friendly pooch!
