When Winter is finally here, we’re getting hit with news of snow carpets falling every other place. You’ll hear people talk about the “X” inches of snow that’s covered their backyard. People don’t like this kind of things so much. They think of the season with mixed feelings. It may be bringing some beauty, but it’s freezing stuff!

One thing you would expect is for a dog, especially a blind one, to really hate the season. It’s harder to walk around the snow with your eyes closed, you know. Well, you’re wrong!

Smiley is a Golden Retriever that was born and spent part of his life in a puppy mill. He went on to make a career as a therapy dog for kids. He was born with no eyes, but that doesn’t stop him from falling in love with what he finds fun. Well, Smiley happens to think walking and playing in the snow is fun!

Watch as he gets to enjoy walks and plays with his human. The dog is aging and can’t hear clearly, but his human knows how to tweak tunes and pitches to communicate with him. Great!
