Military personnel often have to travel to get where they need to go and are usually given some extra benefit while doing so.

They deserve this little recognition and appreciation for serving their country and many believe they deserve more. When a man saw an army officer still in her uniform sitting in a wagon, he decided to do something to say thank you.

The airline with which the officer and the man were on board actually allowed junta members ahead of the rest of the plane except for first class.

When he saw the woman quietly waiting in line for the coach, he left his seat and approached her. She was confused when the gentleman told her he was in her seat and replied that she thought she was in the right seat. While she was still surprised, she happily switched seats with him.

While most people enjoy the attention they receive from actions like this, the man who made this kind gesture requests anonymity. He left his first-class seat and took her seat, 31B, in a carriage.

Another passenger on the flight, Jessica Titus, was able to watch the exchange. She said it was a pleasure to see such kindness from one of the other passengers of a maid in uniform. She wrote a note offering to cover his food and drink, but he refused.

While the man was happy and grateful that his actions had inspired another person to show kindness, he didn’t want her money. Jessica later wrote on Facebook about how people like him have made the world better and should be getting to know them. I shared the story of this gentleman’s behavior with a woman in military uniform on the I Love What Matters page. It received thousands of posts and more than 40,000 likes.

The world can be cruel and can use more kindness. It is important to do good to others even if you are not recognized, and that is exactly what this man did to a soldier flying in a chariot. While he may have never expected the story to go viral, there are thousands of people thanking this mysterious man for his actions.
