On a scorching hot day, a couple sitting outside a restaurant heard a faint whimpering sound. After searching for a minute, they discovered that the sound was coming from a car parked nearby. To their horror, they found a dog locked inside the car with no one in sight. The dog was in a very distressed state due to the scorching heat and the lack of fresh air.
Realizing that the dog was in danger, the couple called 911 for help. However, after waiting for a few minutes with no response, Gerasimus, who is an animal lover, couldn’t bear to watch the dog suffer anymore. He decided to take matters into his own hands and rescue the dog.
Gerasimus carefully used a crowbar to break the driver’s side window of the car, and the door alarm went off as he opened the door. The dog was initially shy, but relieved to finally escape the unbearable heat of the car.
Although Gerasimus had no intention of damaging the owner’s car, he knew that it was the only way to save the dog’s life. The video of his heroic act has since gone viral on social media, and Gerasimus has been hailed as a hero for his compassionate act towards the helpless animal.
