Any good dog owner will totally agree that there is no love like that of man’s best friend. They’re loyal, loving, protective. A dog will never get tired of seeing you and it will be always excited to see you at home. Freyja the German Shepherd shares this special bond with her military dad. After months of not seeing him, she was ready to show him how much she missed him and loved to see him return home.
The video starts with a soldier sitting in his living room. He is relaxed and certainly happy to be home. As his family member films him, barking can be heard in the background. The dogs enter the room and run to the man, but it’s the next thing that followed that left everyone’s heart in a puddle. The soldier whistles and seconds later, Freyja the German shepherd jumps onto the couch and can’t resist cuddling with her owner.
It’s been nine months since the last time Freyja saw her daddy. She was ecstatic as she happily showers her dad with kisses. er cries are oh so sweet as she lies on her back to have her soldier daddy rub her belly.
