There is nothing like the day when an abandoned dog is pulled out of its misery and into a place where it can feel safe. Dogs are extremely intelligent and can tell when things are going to change for them. The grateful dog can sense this is his freedom ride, and he thanks his rescuer by burying his face in her arm and then gently placing his paw over her hand. The rescuer is so moved by it all that she can’t fight back the tears. The entire thing is just so heart-melting to see. We’re so glad this dog is now safe and sound for the rest of his life.
