Dogs are intelligent animals. According to Animal Planet, dogs sense changes in human bodies during pregnancy. The dogs become over-protective, worried, or may display no behavior change. However, dogs that have experienced owners with multiple pregnancies understand the scent and the changes in physical appearance.
One pup had been the little on for quite a long time and loved all the attention directed to him. However, things changed when mom and dad brought home a newborn baby.
Dad introduces the newborn to the puppy. The dog, excited at first, jumps onto the bed where the infant is lying. Dad films as mom keeps a close watch.
The curious puppy sniffs the baby and gives the baby a thorough inspection. The pup makes his way to the edge of the bed away from the baby. When the baby makes a sound, the curious pup returns, and sniffs at her.
The pup’s owners had hoped the puppy would be thrilled to meet his human sister. Sadly, the pup does not seem to like the latest addition to the family. He was reserved and sat far away from the infant.
