Crusoe is a Dachshund that is perpetually hungry. The dog gets his dinner at a certain time daily. However, his constant hunger has caused him to find a way to trick the system.
Crusoe’s owners are strict about the feeding time but the dog will hear none of it.
It is 4 o’clock and the hungry dog is at it again. However, mom will not budge till 5 o’clock. The dog decides to take matters into his own paws.
Crusoe bumps the hour hand to 5 o’clock. Dad walks in and Crusoe begs for his food. Dad looks at the clock and realizes it is later than he thought. He gives the slick dog his dinner.
Crusoe’s trick worked. He is a genius. While mom does not fall for his tricks, he takes advantage of his gullible dad. Every day has a set of new tricks. But this time, mom falls for the trick.
Dinner time keeps getting early and early. One morning, mom and dad find Crusoe on the bed along with the clock.
