There are so many stray pets roaming the streets trying to get something to eat and drink. Often, someone takes one of them off the streets. Other times, rescuers save them and later put them up for adoption. This big dog in the video is a beneficiary of such human kindness.
Gershwin used to survive in the streets of California. At one point, the heat was too much that it was only a matter of time before he died, but fate sent some angles to rescue him just in time!
When the guys from Hope For Paws showed up, Gershwin was a little reserved at first. He didn’t know how to react, but after a few nice treats and some water, he let Loretta get close enough to put a leash on him. And then he tried to drag her down the street. Thankfully, the team was able to get Gershwin in the car and check him into the rescue center.
They bathed and treated him. The nice dog is now all ready for his forever home.
