A golden retriever mix named Rosie was found and taken to rescue a golden retriever on the Nyos River. She was pregnant and about to give birth, and shelter elders Katie and John Black began caring for their future mother.

The puppies may look different from their mothers due to crossbreeding, but when Rosie began giving birth, it was a shock. Her four children are nothing like her. In fact, they looked like little cows!

With their black and brown spots on their fur, the puppies were named Daisy, Clarabel, Betsy and Moe.

That didn’t stop Rosie from loving them as much as possible! Today, they are all those who love homes forever, and it’s all thanks to Katie and John for their efforts and giving the homeless a golden opportunity for a retriever.
