scene. They are expected to enforce the law and maintain order in the face of chaos. However, one police officer went above and beyond his duty to serve and protect by singing to a traumatized toddler.

Police officer Nick Strack responded to a call involving a car accident where a family’s vehicle caught on fire.

Upon arriving at the scene, Officer Strack found 2-year-old Serena, the youngest member of the family, unharmed but alone and in a state of shock. She was wet with gasoline, which only added to her distress.

He remembered a song he used to sing to his own daughter and began singing “Little Stars Twinkle” to Serena, soothing her and easing her tension.

The heartwarming moment was captured by a witness and shared on social media, quickly going viral.

Strack’s kind and compassionate actions have been widely praised, as he went above and beyond his job description to comfort an innocent victim of circumstance during a dark time.
