In an interview with Metro, Joan shared her initial struggles, recounting how her knee replacement was causing immense pain, making it difficult to climb stairs or even visit the gym. The transition to online fitness training was overwhelming at first, requiring her to learn about new technologies such as smartphone apps. Despite moments of frustration and tears, Joan’s tenacious spirit refused to give up.

Her hard work and dedication paid off as she shed over 50 pounds and witnessed a significant improvement in her underlying health conditions, eliminating the need for daily medication
