This is a story that has been circulating on Reddit for some time now and it’s definitely worth reading. It goes like this:

Frustrated with her perpetually late husband, a woman decided to leave a note for him saying that she had had enough and was leaving him. She then hid under the bed to see how he would react.

After a short while, the husband came home and the woman could hear him moving around in the kitchen before making his way to the bedroom. She watched as he walked over to the dresser and picked up the note.

After a few minutes, he scribbled something on it and then picked up the phone to make a call.

“She’s finally gone…yeah, I know, about bloody time. I’m on my way over to see you now. Put on that sexy French nightie.”

After saying “I love you” and expressing his anticipation for their reunion, the man quickly ended the call and rushed out of the house, grabbing his keys. The woman emerged from her hiding place under the bed and listened as his car drove away.

Fuming with anger and tears streaming down her face, she grabbed the note that she had left for him to see what he had written in response. To her surprise, it simply read: “I can see your feet. We’re out of bread. I’ll be back in five minutes.”
