Dr. Tania Haj Hassan, an American physician with “Doctors Without Borders,” served in Gaza’s hospitals for the past four months. In her testimony before the United Nations Security Council, she expressed her frustration with the international system that fails to recognize the value of Palestinian lives. She stated that for the past fourteen months, they had witnessed genocide, met with silence, indifference, and attempts at justification.

She further stated that what is happening in Gaza and Lebanon is a prelude to the end of humanity and an exposure of the failure at both individual and state levels.

Her powerful testimony sheds light on the severe violations faced by civilians in Gaza and calls on the international community to take action to stop these massacres and protect innocent lives.
