Caitlin wasn’t mad that the other woman was surprised by her profession; I was surprised by the word “right”. For Caitlin, this word means that being a nurse is not as good as being a member of one of the other noble professions in the medical industry. Instead of showing she’s upset, Caitlin responded to this lady in a classy way and posted her response on Facebook.

Caitlin writes that she’s heard people say she’s “just a nurse” before, but this time she’s making an impact. She asked her friends if they thought like her acquaintances.
Caitlin went on to say that she was on the cutting edge when the kids were born. They needed help taking their first breath, and Caitlin was there to help, but she’s “just a nurse.” Caitlin has been with many patients as they took their last breaths and helped them do so with dignity, but she is “just a nurse”.
Caitlin comforted the parents after their children died, but she is still “just a nurse”. Caitlin resuscitates patients after their lives are in danger, but she’s “just a nurse.”
She went on to describe all the amazing things she does as ‘just a nurse’ which includes being one among other doctors and their patients, directing their eyes, ears and hands to problems. that need to be assessed, treated and managed.
Caitlin posted her experience on social media and many other health workers felt the same way. This profession is somehow despised compared to others. He is quite capable of saving people’s lives. Caitlin ended her post by saying, “If I’m just a nurse, I’m so proud to be!”
