Monica Kelsey, the founder, shared in a post how she personally experienced being “abandoned” by her birth mother due to a lack of resources to safely surrender her.
Thanks to the actions of Scott and the cooperation of the authorities, both the young mother and the baby at El Patron are now in a safer situation. Although the teenager initially denied being the baby’s mother, it later came to light that the teen mother’s parents had chosen to care for the infant after learning about their daughter’s pregnancy and the child’s birth.
