What do you think is the hardest job in the world? Is it a cop, Fireman, or a surgeon? No, you’re wrong, it’s the job of a Cat Herder!
Award-winning commercial made by Fallon for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) features a group of tough cowboys ready to herd thousands of kitties across the Montana Prairie. One of the cowboys says:
“Anyone can herd cattle but holding together 10,000 half wild short hairs is completely different altogether”
It’s a tough job, right. but someone has to do it! the commercial shows the struggle these herders suffer to get their job done, there is no doubt, they will risk some serious injuries too. It’s all part of the nasty job!
The ad was so successful that it received many awards and accolades including a Cannes Silver Lion in 2000 and a Bronze Clio in 2001 as well as being cited by Bill Clinton as his favorite commercial at the time.
