Nature can sometimes be unsafe for animals. Bizarre things can take place there and cause a threat and hurt the animals. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) which is an animal welfare charity that operates in England and Wales shot the incredible rescue video on the Loughor Estuary marshland in Gower. In the video, a female horse and her young one are stranded on the marshland, at risk of the incoming tide. They are unable to move from the dangerous place because the mother horse got her back hoof caught in an entwined knot of her mane. She has had several attempts to get up but keeps on falling. She may have some bruises due this unfortunate circumstance. The approaching tide poses a real danger to the horse.
It is the dashing of the foal that makes the RSPCA inspectors notice the mare and her young one. As the horses see the rescuers approaching, they get more nervous, but the RSPCA will have to gain the trust of the two animals because they can help them. The inspectors gently approach the mare and convince her they are there to help.
As you can see in this video below, the horse is still unable to get up even after the inspectors get her back hoof entangled. The horse appears to have lost some circulation in her back section and cannot stand even if she tries repeatedly. However, she continues to make a try and finally stands and walks away slowly. Her supporter, the foal, walks away with her as cheers her on.
The two animals escape the risky situation with the assistance of new buddies from RSPCA. This incredible video has more than 2.9 million views on YouTube since its posting.
