One of the most common types of civil lawsuits filed in US courts is a personal injury case. When companies, organizations or governments are directly responsible for the injury of an innocent person, they are liable in civil court through personal injury claims.
Alexander Goldinsky is a 58-year-old man who works in a large building that houses several unique and independent businesses, according to NJ.com. The building has a full cafeteria where employees can eat, regardless of the company they work on.
Like any other cafeteria, this cafeteria has an ice maker and a drink machine. As many of us have found out from personal experience, ice is very slippery when it partially melts and falls to the ground, for example, making it easier for people to fall if they step on this ice.
Goldinsky must have been fed up with his employer the day he faked a back injury.
Alexander Goldinsky purposely threw ice cubes on the ground, then slipped on them and fell to the ground. He didn’t get up until someone else came to see him!
As far as Alexander knows, the escape was caught on camera.
Goldinsky had already filed an insurance claim by the time charges of insurance fraud and theft arose.
Police saw Alexander’s cowardly movements days after the event and arrested him on the spot after catching him in the act in a film. Cheating never pays!
