Caring for the baby is what the mother does best. And in the animal kingdom, this is no different. One day, Steve Muise was driving home across Canada when he saw a mother and baby pair interacting in a way that touched his heart.
Here’s a moose mom who took the time to make sure her stumbling newborn calf can safely cross the street. Steve and his wife stopped and watched in amazement as they recorded everything. The baby was so small that it had to be born in the last hours.
What a sweet moment to witness! Even if they didn’t happen to record it, it’s not something this couple would’ve soon forgotten.
