After spending nearly 100 days in hospital, Angelica Hill has been released. She was on dialysis for over a year until she was strong enough for a kidney transplant. During her long road to recovery, Angelica Hale found her voice.
You may not know Angelica Hill’s medical history, but you’ve definitely seen her before.
Angelica participated in the 2017 season of America’s Got Talent. The judges were so impressed with her performance of Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire” that they struck the Golden Bell, allowing Angelica to advance directly to the final.
Each judge can hit the golden bell once per season, so that’s quite an achievement. Angelica finished in second place. At age 10, she was the show’s youngest finalist.
Now 11, Angelica Hill is back for the new season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Angelica sang a performance of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” which showed off her impressive ensemble.
The whole audience was on their feet at the end of the first verse. Howie Mandell was so impressed with Angelica’s talent that he struck the gold bell making Angelica Hale the first person in America’s Got Talent history to receive two gold offers!
Susan also gave away a gold medal and went straight to the final. Judging by her song choice, Angelica was ready to fight!
