When the huge Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, Chance Ward and his son, Rowdy, were in Houston. Truthfully, many people went out of their way to help their neighbors, but not so many came out to help the livestock trapped in the dangerous waters. Chance and his son knew they had to do something different. There had to be someone to save those innocent animals!
So the dad and son set out to find and save the trapped animals. In this video, you watch them as they save these cute horses that were trapped in a pen, with the flood already hugging their “chests!” Were it not for these two gentlemen, these animals would be no more!
Watch as Rowdy smartly opens a tough gate to let out the horse and gracefully guides the animal on to safety. On this one day, they drove 4 horses to safety, and they continued their good job the next day. Chance captured the incredible video of his son being a hero. He must be one proud dad right now!
