Anatole France, a French poet once wrote, “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened,” Pets feel affection for you with their whole being. It is not unusual to see your pet waiting the entire day close to the door or on the sofa for you to come bursting through the door after a busy day at work. In Central Java, Indonesia, a cat’s faithfulness and love for her master continues to exist even after death.
The heather-grey cat has spent each night for more than a year at her master’s graveside. The inconsolable creature declines to go away regardless of being offered a home by neighbors.
Keli Keningau Prayitno, a 28-year-old passerby, tried to take her up, but each night unfailingly, the faithful catlike would unavoidably return to her dead owner’s blue tombstone.
Keli observed that the cat would go away for a few hours during the day and return. Someday he went after her and found out that she would go home where she used to reside with her master named Kundari and her kids. Kundari’s kids would feed the cat every time she came home. After being fed, she would devotedly go back to Kundari’s grave and silently meow while turning over around in the dust. This is according to the Mirror News.
