Dick Van Dyke, 97, is a one-of-a-kind individual. The iconic actor has performed in several films and shows, earning him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the title of Disney Legend. Fans of the elderly actor, on the other hand, are more interested in discovering how he stays in such good condition.

Mary Poppins Returns, the beloved 1964 sequel, will be screened on BBC on Christmas Day, bringing the Hollywood legend back to the nation’s television screens. Van Dyke’s involvement in the sequel was substantially smaller than his role in the original, in which he co-starred in with Julie Andrews as Bert.

Fans were stunned as the celebrity sprang up and performed a full tap routine. The artist, who was 91 years old then, revealed to everyone in attendance that he still possessed the same talent that had made him famous all those years before.

In a June interview with CBS, the actor, who looks to be proud of his fitness level, revealed a little about his daily routine.

As he performed countless sit-ups, the star could almost be heard yelling into the TV from his California home.

“Your stomach is the center of your body. If your stomach is strong, you’re in good shape,” he says. “So, all you old guys out there, pay attention. I tell you that you can continue. I’m still singing and dancing!”

One of the main reasons he consented to do the cameo in Mary Poppins Returns in the first place was to show others that he was still capable even in his old age.

He claimed in the interview that he had three dances to learn, but he chose to learn the most difficult one to make a point.

“[They] presented me with three options, and I chose the most challenging. ‘ I’d like that one,’ I said.” “I had to show my skills. I was 91, I believe.”

Despite his unrivaled athleticism, there was trouble in paradise back in 2013, when the singer allegedly stated that he had been having pounding in his head whenever he slept.

Numerous medical specialists conducted numerous tests but were perplexed by the strange heartbeat-like sound. They were unable to pinpoint the source of the star’s distress.

In an attempt to find a solution, Van Dyke asked on Twitter if anyone had any ideas as to what was causing the hammering in his head.

Positional headaches, according to Medical News Today, can induce symptoms such as a pounding or throbbing head when lying down. According to the website, a positional headache is a type of headache that occurs when a person is sitting or standing up and usually goes away after resting down. They are usually caused by cerebrospinal fluid leakage (CSF).

The pain will linger for 20 to 30 minutes after the person stands or sits. A minor headache may also cause people to wake up in the morning, or it may intensify throughout the day.

The underlying cause will decide the most effective treatment option for positional headaches. Patients typically use bed rest, plenty of fluids, and over-the-counter drugs such as paracetamol to ease symptoms. If discomfort persists, people should seek medical attention.

Surprisingly, the source of Van Dyke’s persistent headache was not what anyone expected.

“It appears that my titanium dental implants are the source of my head pounding,” he said a few weeks later in response to his initial tweet. ” Have you had a similar experience? I appreciate each and every one of your answers.”

Ironically, what gave him a movie star’s smile was also the source of so much pain. The celebrity has titanium dental implants, which replace the natural root of the tooth with metal. The implant and bone gradually fuse together after being inserted into the jawbone to form stronger, healthier teeth. Van Dyke’s headache was caused by a nerve injury that occurred in his case.
