The iconic London residence once owned by the family of Diana, Princess of Wales, has recently been sold for approximately €12 million. Located in the prestigious Mayfair district, this Georgian-style townhouse witnessed key moments in Diana’s life and remains a symbol of her legacy.

The property, located at 24 Farm Street, was acquired in 1990 by John Spencer, Diana’s father. After her separation from then-Prince Charles in 1992 and their divorce in 1996, the house became a quiet refuge for the princess. Spanning over 460 square meters and arranged across four floors, the residence features five bedrooms, a grand reception hall, a formal living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, and a private library.
The top floor houses a luxurious master suite with its own living area, walk-in closet, and a private rooftop terrace. Additional amenities include a staff apartment with a separate kitchen and bedroom, a private elevator, and a charming outdoor patio.

Following the death of John Spencer in 1992, his second wife, Raine Spencer, inherited the property. She sold it in 1997 to art collectors Alan and Mary Hobart for approximately €3.4 million. After both Hobarts passed away in 2021, their heirs listed the home for sale in mid-2024. Due to its historical significance and prime location, the house was sold in under four months.

This sale highlights the enduring fascination and market value of properties linked to historical figures, especially those connected to the British royal family. Beyond its architectural elegance, the residence holds a deep emotional and cultural significance as a part of Princess Diana’s story.
