Josh Marino is a military veteran. When he returned home from deployment, his struggles began. Josh was restless and unhappy. At one point, he thought of committing suicide. He got up one day and wrote a last letter to his family, and then he went outside to smoke one last time. He didn’t expect a small kitten to sneak out of a nearby bush and come straight at him!
The little creature started cuddling up on his leg. Josh was so touched that he cried alone. He couldn’t go through with his plan!
From that day on, Josh would spend a few moments playing around with the strange cat. He named him Scout. One day, Scout didn’t show up, and Josh missed him terribly. Figuring just how much a pet meant to him. Josh and his girlfriend decided to adopt a cat, so they checked into a nearby animal shelter and guess what? Scout was right there!
