A cyclone had just hit the neighborhood, and Peter knew these little squirrels wouldn’t survive for long if he left them where he found them at the gate, so he took them in and cared for them. He would feed the babies using a syringe.

At some point, he noticed that his cat, Netty, was curious about these new family members, so he introduced the babies to her. What happened next was a high heart-warmer! The cat took them in her arms and snuggled them. Having been rescued from the streets, Netty knew that these little beings needed love, so she tried as much as possible to show them the kind of treatment she had received. Wow!

After the weather had cleared, Peter heard the mama squirrel looking for her babies outside. He put them at the window and their mama came to pick them one by one. You’ll love the sight!
