Chris encountered the woman destined to be his life partner, Tatiana, and was profoundly moved by her understanding and embrace of his unbreakable connection with his sister. Expressing his feelings to People, Chris shared:
“The moment Tatiana and I started dating, I explained to her that Brittany and I would always be a package deal. Luckily for me, she said that she wouldn’t have it any other way — she loves Brittany with every fiber of her being, too.”
Their love story flourished, leading them to the decision to tie the knot. However, the onset of the pandemic altered their plans, prompting the couple to wait until Brittany received her Covid-19 vaccine. Once she got vaccinated in March 2021, they were ready to proceed. But there was a delightful surprise in store for Brittany. The couple wanted her to be the maid of honor and captured her joyous reaction on film. In the video, Tatiana asked Brittany if she would do them the honor, and her enthusiastic acceptance was evident.
“Seeing how excited and moved she got reinforced how much she truly loves us,” Chris reflected. “I don’t know how I got this lucky having Brittany as my sister — I just love her so much.”
In April 2021, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. Later that same year, in October, they surprised Brittany once again with a “Cool aunt” T-shirt as part of their pregnancy reveal. Despite starting their own family, Chris emphasized that his love for his sister and their beautiful bond would remain unchanged, no matter what.
“She’s been my best friend since day one, and even once I’m married, it won’t change.”
