Elon Musk’s popularity is plummeting. More and more people in both the U.S. and Europe are distancing themselves from his vehicles due to his political stance, which is inevitably impacting Tesla’s stock value.

Moreover, it’s becoming increasingly common for public figures to criticize Musk or Tesla. This time, Democratic Senator Mark Kelly has decided to part ways with his Tesla, sharing the news in a video on his Twitter (now X) profile.
In the video, Kelly showcases his new car: a Chevrolet Tahoe. The video’s caption makes his stance clear: “The new car is here! Built by union workers right here in the U.S. thanks to @UAW (the United Auto Workers union).”
In the video, Kelly explains his decision: “I bought a Tesla because it was fast like a rocket ship. But now, every time I drive it, I feel like a rolling billboard for a man dismantling our government and hurting people. So Tesla, you’re fired! New ride coming soon.”

This statement is a direct reference to Musk’s ongoing disputes with unions representing workers at his various factories, particularly in Europe, where tensions have been mounting for months.
