Jerome and Ashley Kennedy had just delivered a new baby when strange sounds started coming from their attic.
The couple were terrified to find their 69-year-old neighbor Robert Havrella had snuck into the attic to spy on them and their baby boy.
Jerome discovered something strange one day while taking a nap in his room.
Hearing strange noises coming from above, he looked up to discover a light piercing a pipe in the ceiling.
He was skeptical about the cause of the sounds and light, so he decided to install a camera to record what was going on there.
The camera captured footage of their neighbor in the attic holding a power drill. It was later discovered that Havrilla had installed an access wall which allowed him to enter the couple’s attic.
Jerome also discovered that Robert had punched several holes in a party wall that allowed him to spy on the Kennedy family.
Haverila was arrested and is currently facing harassment and trespassing charges to which he has pleaded not guilty. The Kennedy family is currently hoping that the man will be convicted so their home will be safe again.
