Pedro Viloria was about to deliver the customer his food at the counter when the car drove past him on the road.
At that moment, Viloria jumped straight out the window to see what was happening. The children in the car were shouting, “Mommy, mommy,” Viloria said, “Stop it,” “What are you doing.
The woman in question turned out to be an off-duty police officer with a medical emergency. She came to the command post to get food for her children.
Surveillance footage from inside the restaurant shows the car driving through the parking lot, watched by customers. Luckily, one of the customers was an off-duty firefighter, who also rushed to the woman’s rescue.
Viloria said in an interview with Inside Edition that his biggest fear was the kids in the back seat asking for help, so he went straight to them to calm their little minds.
His quick thinking and athletic life saved the woman and her children. He was then only 22 years old.
