Greg Zanes is a selfless man. Over the past twenty years, the man has built more than 14,000 crosses for the victims of the tragedy and their families. Carpenter by profession on a mission of peace and benevolence. He will create a cross for anyone as long as he asks.

He runs Crosses For Losses, a partially funded non-profit organization where most of the money comes out of his own pocket. Thanks to a GoFundme campaign, Greg put 58 crosses behind the “Welcome to Las Vegas” banner. This is done in memory of the beautiful souls who have passed away. Crosses are a place of hope and gathering.

Greg travels the country carrying crosses in his white van. He does not get all the help he needs although he is not very well off financially.

Greg’s daughter says the job casts a shadow over her father and his family. The family feeds from the pantry and Greg has been driving the same car for over 20 years. Even his back door broke at some point.
