Quesnel’s deputy was on patrol when he encountered a driver who had exceeded the speed limit. Naturally, he went with the driver to stop traffic, intending to issue a speeding ticket. No one knew what would happen when he stopped the driver.

Quesnel’s assistant isn’t a strict cop, he’s a “sweet” assistant cop who told WTEN-TV it wasn’t the first time he had helped others. When asked Rep Quesnel why he does things that are good for people, he laughed back, “Because I’m a sweet cop, I don’t know. I like helping people.”

“I’m going to help him or help someone else,” he continued. “I’m not rich. I live everyone’s life [sic] but I love helping people,” the policeman repeated.

“He was kind, generous and compassionate,” Janet told the news channel. “It shocked me. I couldn’t believe a policeman would go any further.”

At a time when some police officers are making headlines for all the wrong reasons, it is heartwarming to have stories like that of Representative Quesnel and his benevolent action towards a woman in need. https://youtu.be/aG2n9Dm8xPg
