Many people think miniature horses are ponies, but that’s totally wrong. Ponies have “shorter legs, wider barrels, and a thicker neck,” while a miniature horse is basically “bred to be more refined than the pony, with a long, flexible neck, straight legs, and a short back,” according to Horse Illustrated. Miniature horses are a sought after breed and look incredibly cute, just like the one you’re about to see in the video below
One very young miniature horse recently caught people’s attention when a video of a 3-day-old miniature horse playfully chasing one of its breeders, a fully grown man named Sterling, around its pen.
Considering the fact that this miniature horse was born three days before this video was recorded it’s quite impressive to see how well it is galloping and how much it is enjoying to chase Sterling. It seems however that the young foal is actually more excited about catching her breeder instead of only chasing him. As Sterling lets the adorable miniature horse catch up to him, it rubs against him with joy in the hope of being cuddled by her human friend.
While the 3-day-old horse and Sterling are romping around, the foal’s mother, Grace, doesn’t let the two out of sight. But she doesn’t seem to be worried about her little one at all instead she contently watches it chasing their breeder. One can tell that she knows Sterling won’t ever harm the foal.
