A cow’s story is going viral across the country. This cow, named Brianna, was able to reshape her own destiny. She was loaded along with other cows onto a truck that’s heading towards their final destination: A slaughterhouse in New Jersey
Brianna was 9-month pregnant at that time and she refused to let the horrible ending happen, she was determined to escape no matter how, to save herself and her unborn baby
“She’s never had freedom, she’d been impregnated about nine months ago, and had already lost her home and her family, but that wasn’t enough, EVERYTHING was about to be stolen from her, her beautiful baby, and her life,” Skylands Animal Sanctuary wrote on Facebook.
The truck was less than 10 minutes away from the butcher when Brianna pushed her way through the cattle and jumped off the truck nearly 8 feet down and onto the concrete.
She then sprinted down the highway, leading police on a mad chase to catch her.
Brianna was eventually captured and taken to Skylands, where she was checked for injuries. That’s when the staff discovered truth they never expected.
