A severely neglected horse had been left for dead on the top of a mountain. Later named Bones, the horse was discovered without any access to water and extremely close to death.
He was covered in rain rot, a common skin infection seen in horses and could hardly walk from starvation when these heroic people came to the rescue. Bones’ rescuers refused to let him die and nursed him back to health so that he could spend the rest of his days in love and comfort.
