This video in particular is particularly poignant. The clip begins with a man wishing a happy birthday to his son, the sailor, who was serving in Bahrain.
The video was recorded earlier and the father watched his birthday greeting with his friends and family gathered around him. The sailor wishes his father a happy 50th birthday and apologizes for not being there to celebrate with him.
When the father started to cry, the sailor asked his father to suck him off and not be sad. Everyone in the room laughed at the little joke and it was clear that his son missed the father terribly.
Suddenly, a woman in the room ordered the birthday boy to turn around and hug her son. It is then apparent that the sailor has snuck into the room to the surprise of his unsuspecting father.
The father could not contain his emotions as he stood up to embrace his beloved son. The family was enjoying their time together when Toby Keith’s patriotic song “Courtesy of Red, White, and Blue” started playing in the background.
